Wolf & Rita is an exciting young brand from Portugal. It was founded in 2011 by sisters Sonia and Claudia Rocha, whose family have a history of shirt making in the heart of Portugal's textile region. The season of Summer 16 is called 'Bonjour Jeunesse' and the collection pays tribute to the french Novelle Vague and the swining sixties. Famous films like "A bout de Souffle" and "Jules et Jim" and directors like Francois Truffaut, Jen-Luc Godard are among the sources of inspiration behind the selection of patterns and solid bold colours of this collection which is an homage to this thrilling period of European film history and to a group of influential artists. "French New Wave rocks!" ...
The clothes are locally produced in Guimaraes in the north of Portugal and the sisters are very particular on sourcing everything locally, from fabrics through to buttons and thread.
The quality is unquestionable and the style is dressed up while still being very wearable. We love that almost all pieces can be combined with each other. The styles, prints and shades marry beautifully.
We are so excited to have this very stylish and interesting new brand on board and we hope you will like it as much as we do.
